Norma Zvolsky

Norma Zvolsky's life has always been defined by her love for dogs. Her passion for Retrievers began in 1991 when "Mavisflight a Nick Nack," a Flat Coated Retriever male, joined her household. Currently, she lives with three Golden Retrievers (from right to left): Duckflight Beesley (Purdey), Glenn Mohr's Swift (Fay), and Duckflight Eye on Magpie (Maggie). Queenhill Madoc (Corey), on the far left, was still present during the photo shoots for the new edition of the Kosmos Retriever School. Norma Zvolsky has been a hunter since 1997 and regularly takes her dogs on small game hunts. During the off-season, she maintains her Retrievers' performance level with dummy work, as she enjoys "sporting" competition in addition to hunting. The renowned author of "Standard Training Works for Retrievers" has successfully participated in international trials (Field Trials, Retrieve Trials, Dummy Trials, and Working Tests) with her dogs both at home and abroad. Since 2005, Norma Zvolsky has been breeding Golden Retrievers from Field Trial lines under the kennel name "Duckflight." In 2007, she founded the Retriever training center fit4dogs, where she offers seminars and training for dummy work and hunting. Looking back on her life, she can say: "I wouldn't want to miss a single second I've spent with my dogs. Dogs are the common thread in my life."
