About the Author

Inga Böhm-Reithmeier

Inga Böhm-Reithmeier has been training dogs and their owners for 30 years. She has studied with recognized dog trainers at home and abroad and completed several training courses on the subject. However, her real teachers were her own dogs, who accompanied her all these years, and all the dog personalities she had the pleasure of welcoming to her dog training sessions. Having grown up in a hunter's household with integrated gundog breeding, one could almost say she grew up in a dog bed. She spent part of her childhood with her family in Dallas, Texas, where she gained her first experience with dummy work and training Labrador Retrievers. Today, she lives with her family and her four working gundogs in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps and gives seminars, workshops, lectures, and webinars on dogs throughout Europe. She is also the author of several specialist cynological books and teaches aspiring dog trainers.
