The sentence: "You need to be more consistent with your dog!" is often thrown at dog owners seeking help, disguised as good advice. But how does one become consistent? What exactly does it mean, and how do you implement it in detail for yourself and your dog? In this informative and entertaining webinar, we will look at the topic of "consistency" from all sides. Using many practical case studies, we will illustrate the benefits of being consistent with your dog.
We can promote calmness, trust, security, and reliability in our dog through very simple actions.
However, being consistent also means developing clear communication and clear agreements with your dog. Because a dog can only cooperate as well as we dictate. You can achieve fair interaction with your dog simply by making small changes in your behavior.
And incidentally, living with your dog will become easier and enrich your relationship.
Learn in this webinar:
- the benefits of consistency in dealing with your dog
- what consistency really means and how you can implement it in detail
- to train your self-awareness
- how to communicate so your dog understands you

Inga Böhm-Reithmeier has been training people and their dogs professionally for almost 30 years. For years she learned from professional trainers and specialists from Germany and abroad, but most of all from all the dogs she was allowed to train. Since 2005, she has lived in Bavaria with her husband, two children, and her four dogs. She is the author and co-author of the book "The Second Chance – Dogs with a Past" (Kosmos Verlag 2017). She gives lectures, seminars, and workshops throughout Europe on the topic of dogs.
She deals with rescue dogs almost daily in her training and has lived with her own rescue dogs for a long time. For years she has been training shelter staff and regularly trains with the current dogs from the Traunstein animal shelter to make it easier for them to live in a new home.
