Our Expert:
Jan Nijboer is the founder of the holistic educational philosophy Natural Dogmanship®. Since 1998, he has been the supervisor of the "Specialist Training for Dog Education Consultants" in Germany and Switzerland and head of the "Institute for Dog Education Consulting", where the specialist training is offered. Jan Nijboer originally came from the human-social pedagogical field, was a lecturer at the University of Groningen in animal management, a trainer of service dogs, and a lecturer in training courses for animal-assisted therapy and pedagogy. He runs the "Natural Dogmanship® Zentrale" in Rhineland-Palatinate, where he teaches his developed educational philosophy and has built up a network of Natural Dogmanship® instructors. Furthermore, he heads the "Institut für Hundeerziehungsberatung" in Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate, where he trains and educates dog education consultants.
