Research meets Dog

Much research is conducted – on wolves, whales, apes. The dog, man's best friend, seemed to have been forgotten for a long time. But that is changing; more and more research projects in Europe and the USA are focusing on the domestic dog, its development, its behavior, its intelligence, and its emotions.

Dr. Udo Gansloßer and Kate Kitchenham report on the researchers and their work, summarize the most interesting findings, and thus provide dog owners with guidance for a better understanding of their four-legged friends.
