Our dogs are constantly communicating with us – but we often judge their behavior through our purely human perspective. In this webinar, Jan Nijboer demonstrates how exactly this can lead to misunderstandings in everyday life with a dog.
You will learn why topics such as dog interactions, off-leash activities, or the use of treats are often perceived differently from a dog's point of view than we think. The goal is an honest change of perspective for more understanding in your daily life with your dog.
After this webinar, you will better understand your dog's behavior and be able to recognize stress, insecurity, or overwhelm early on. You will gain new perspectives for clearer and more effective communication between you and your dog. This creates more security and harmony in everyday life, while at the same time strengthening your human-dog relationship.
Learn in this webinar:
• How dogs perceive situations and why misunderstandings arise.
• Communication signals and their meaning in everyday life.
• Recognizing, understanding, and avoiding typical stressors in coexistence.
• Dog interactions, off-leash activities, and food rewards from a dog's perspective.
• Differences between enthusiasm, excitement, and overwhelm.
• Responsibility, safety, and social roles in the family from the dog's perspective.
• Numerous practical examples of miscommunication and its resolution.
