Philipp Juranek

Philipp Juranek is a journalist and filmmaker who has been producing documentaries and reports since 2016, focusing on nature, politics, environmental protection, and conservation for public television. In his adopted home in Brandenburg, where he and his husband converted an old farm, he volunteers in nature conservation and bird monitoring. Even as a child, he could identify all birds by their song, distinguish duck species without binoculars, and memorized the Latin names of European birds. Even as a Brandenburg country boy, Philipp still enjoys Berlin's nightlife. Never without listening to the nightingales on his way home.
