Antonia Coenen

Antonia Coenen has been leading the film production company LOUPEFILM in Cologne and Berlin since 2003, producing films for public television with a focus on environment, species protection, and animal welfare. As a director, she and LOUPEFILM have received numerous awards for her documentaries. In 2017, she co-founded the initiative "BERLINER SPATZENRETTER" (Berlin Sparrow Rescuers), which advocates for the survival of building-nesting birds and environmental education in Berlin schools. Antonia is a hobby birder and has been producing the podcast "Gut zu Vögeln" (Good for Birds/Good to F*** Birds - a double entendre in German) from Cologne with Philipp Juranek since March 2020. Besides birds, Antonia loves music and performs as a hip-hop DJ.
