Wild and Passionate – rock the trail

How do I properly motivate a scent hound without having someone run away with a full food bowl and having to lure them with it? How do I properly build up the dog so that special motivation units are not necessary, but the passion comes from within? How do I manage to stop him from peeing and private sniffing – whether out of stress or boredom – without having to intervene verbally as a handler? Alexandra Grunow is the founder and managing director of the K-9 Scent Dog Center. For several years, she has been volunteering with the search and rescue dog team "Mantrailer & Rettungshunde Starnberg e.V."
