Press reports paint a picture of the dangerous dog. Photos of Rottweilers and so-called "fighting dogs" make headlines, and there are discussions about dog regulations and breed-specific legislation. If one considers the spectrum of opinions, two extreme viewpoints quickly emerge: dogs are a potential danger – or no dog is dangerous by nature. At the latest, when a dog exhibits noticeable aggressive behavior, dealing with the issue of "dangerousness" becomes necessary, but also burdensome: assessments and accusations are coupled with impending decrees and, ultimately, a potential mandated euthanasia.
In this webinar, we will look at the whole picture: What is a dangerous dog and what makes it dangerous? What options does one have as an owner or as a person confronted with such a dog? With the help of today's available knowledge, one can identify dangers and examine dangerousness without pointing fingers and prejudging.
Let's talk about dangerous dogs!
