Focus: Raunächte and Winter Solstice

Webinar Series "Smudging in the Rhythm of the Jahreskreis"

We perceive the Rauhnächte (Rough Nights) as a very special, intense, almost magically mystical time in the annual cycle. They are 12 holy nights that offer us stillness, inner contemplation, reflection, and a glimpse into the coming year. They begin with the winter solstice on December 21st, or with the 1st Rauhnacht from December 24th to December 25th.

In the webinar, I will explain the background and meaning of the Rauhnächte and the winter solstice, and how we can observe these 12 holy nights in our modern times.

Besides providing us with a fantastic treasure trove of remedies, nature also offers a very special energy and quality at these turning points. We can perceive this and use it for current life situations, topics, and personal questions. The answers are favored by the current season. This way, we "tune in" to the rhythm of nature again, and things go more smoothly, quicker, and more effortlessly. We essentially turn with the seasonal wheel of life, which noticeably and positively influences our own rhythm.

• I will demonstrate, show, and explain the appropriate smudging materials or a smudging blend for the Rauhnächte and the winter solstice.
• I will describe the effects of the individual smudging herbs, which you can smudge purely or use for a blend.
• Explanation of symbols that match the Rauhnächte and with which you can decorate your seasonal table or annual cycle altar, and which can partly be collected in nature.
