Webinar Series "Incensing in the Rhythm of the Annual Cycle"
A journey through 8 turning points in nature according to the Celtic and Germanic tradition of the annual cycle, focusing on Lughnasadh, also called Lammas, Reaping Festival, and Herb Consecration, on August 2nd.
In the webinar, I will explain the background and meaning of this annual cycle festival in Celtic, Germanic, and Christian traditions, and what we can still find of it in our modern times. I will build on this and explain design ideas, incensings, and rituals.
Nature, in addition to providing us with a fantastic treasure trove of remedies, offers a very special energy and quality at these turning points. We can perceive this and use it for current life situations, themes, and personal questions. The answers are favored by the current season. This "hooks us back into" the rhythm of nature, and things go more smoothly, faster, and more effortlessly. We literally turn with the seasonal wheel of life, which noticeably and positively influences our own rhythm.
I will demonstrate, show, and explain the appropriate incense or incense blend for this annual cycle festival and describe the effects of the individual incense materials that you can burn purely or use for a blend.
Symbols will be explained that you can use to decorate your seasonal table or annual cycle altar, some of which can be collected in nature.
Additionally, in this webinar, I will show you how to tie an incense herb wand, what you need for it, what to pay attention to, and which herbs are suitable for it.
