Brine shrimp

This is all about breeding prehistoric crustaceans and observing them in the salt desert experiment station. Because those who look closely into the special tall breeding tank train their eyes for the small crustaceans that hatch from their eggs after only one day. Exciting experiments with concentrated light from a flashlight show how the small brine shrimp react to the light and why they spend most of their time swimming on their backs.

But that's not all – in petri dishes and small plant pots, young researchers can grow salt crystals and exotic saltwort themselves. Of course, in addition to a spatula and a pipette, the experiment kit also contains a magnifying glass – for further experiments, which are described as suggestions in the detailed instructions.
