Horses are creatures of habit – changes in their lives often mean stress for them. What rituals do horses naturally use, and what can we offer them to give them security – in interactions with us, in the stable, in their daily routine, during training, and when riding?

Animal filmmaker and "In the Circle of the Herd" author Marc Lubetzki has been observing and filming wild horse herds in Germany, Great Britain, Bosnia, and Portugal for almost ten years. During filming, he himself becomes part of the herd.
