In this webinar, Dr. Marie Nitzschner talks about personality research. In many cases, personality research has primarily taken place among humans, but there are also a number of studies on dogs. But what exactly is personality? How do you research this concept? And how can findings be transferred if they were not directly researched in dogs?
“Personality” is a term that is now used almost inflatorily in dog training. This webinar provides a brief overview of the methods of personality research in humans and to what extent these can be applied to dogs. It also explores the question of how similar the personalities of dogs and their owners are – we already know that they look alike, but especially when it comes to choosing the next dog, the question always arises: Does this dog suit me?
