Mumpelmoff lives a lonely life in Morl House and yearns for true friendship. When he meets the Owl Princess, he believes he can only impress her with new, extravagant costumes. But each time, she flees from him. It's not until a storm carries away his silent companion, Balloon Littlemine, that Mumpelmoff embarks on an adventurous journey. With the help of a fairy, he discovers that he is truly special not because of disguises, but because of what makes him unique.
