As dog trainers, we want customers who are motivated, identify with the training, feel responsible for their dog's development, and are committed to practicing. As a trainer, you are expected to know how to motivate your customers, as well as different dog personalities, to cooperate.
Therefore, in this webinar, we will address three different perspectives: your own internal and external motivation, the customer's motivation, and last but not least, the reward possibilities and internal motivation of the dog.
We will also discuss what demotivates us and the customer, how to recognize motivation barriers, and how to communicate with the customer during setbacks.
Learn in this webinar:
- what internal and external motivation are all about,
- how to motivate your customers to practice,
- what reward options there are for dogs,
- how to motivate dogs to cooperate,
- how to overcome motivation barriers, and
- how to communicate progress and setbacks with the customer.
