Dogs prefer to do what they feel like doing at the moment. In everyday life, however, too much freedom quickly leads to overwhelm and associated undesirable behaviors. In multi-dog households, these problems are magnified.
Our dogs want to explore, experience, and feel themselves in their domestic and natural habitat. In doing so, they are instinctively looking for boundaries, or "spaces," that offer them orientation, protection, and security. Let's realize that we form a community with our dogs, in which humans, as responsible group leaders, set these boundaries.
In this webinar, I will show you how to recognize and establish boundaries (or spaces) and how to guide your dogs through them. For example:
- the envious dog can become a well-wisher,
- the rebellious dog can become a reliable friend, and
- the egoist can become a team player.
In the House
A house offers rooms in abundance. Structuring them into rest, play, eating, and taboo areas helps our dogs to calm down.
Walking on Leash
Do you walk your dogs on the left or on the right side? We'll talk about leash spaces and how you can improve your leadership through them.
Outdoors in Nature
Paths, forests, water, and meadows – nature provides the spaces, and we consciously use them for shared activities. The leash is a tool to establish spaces and prepare for off-leash walks.
For Humans and Dogs as Individuals
Personal comfort zones for individuals and the group allow personalities to grow, strengthen trust, and trust creates freedom.
With plenty of film footage, exercises, and practical examples.
