Every beginning is hard, they say – right? No, that's not true!
With trailing, every beginning can be fun! If certain things are taken into account. What do I need to consider when choosing the area, the terrain, etc.? Furthermore, after the discovery trails, the development trails should be exciting, creative, varied, and, above all, suitable for the search dog type of the team. Then every beginning is really fun for both human and dog!
In this webinar, you will learn exactly what matters in the learning phase.
- Which trails should be laid for puppies, young dogs, experienced newcomers, or seniors?
- Why and what would be an over- or under-challenge for the team?
- What does the handler need to learn, and what does the dog need to learn?
- How must the handler be guided by the trainer, and what scent difficulties should the dog have already encountered?
- Handling little and a lot of scent must be made pleasant.
