Fun Science Crystal Wonders

Sparkling crystals, shimmering plaster figures, and small natural wonders are waiting to be grown and displayed! With this experiment kit, children aged eight and up can create their own dazzling crystals and get creative. First, they learn how a solution is formed from crystal salt and water, in which bright single crystals grow after one to two days. Contents: 190g potassium aluminum sulfate (crystal salt), 200g plaster, red and blue crepe paper, casting mould, tweezers, measuring cup, 2 spatulas, instructions

Additional materials required: Water, pot, oven mitts, pot holder, natural materials (e.g., shell, rough stones), kitchen towels, old newspaper, scissors, empty and clean jam jars, yogurt cups and quark cups.
