Experiencing the seasons mindfully and consciously connects us with the forces of natural rhythms. Burning incense at the winter solstice, in early spring at Candlemas, or in midsummer at St. John's Day gives us energy and guides us to our inner core - we detach ourselves from the hustle and bustle and speed of everyday life.

January is still a month of transition. But at the beginning of February, the change in nature becomes clear. It is a time of upheaval or new beginnings and cleansing. So, we now have forces available for a change and a new start. We can use the renewing quality of early spring in many ways: for example, for external and internal awakening, for inspiration or for clarity about the direction the current year might take us. This allows the emotional and creative seeds that are germinating within us to grow and flourish.
