Kodama

The players are the guardians of the trees and do their part to ensure that the forest is a healthy and lush home for the Kodamas – the Japanese tree spirits. Each turn causes the trees to grow and populate them with a mix of flowers, insects, mushrooms, and other things. Points are awarded depending on the elements on the newly grown branch. Players try to make their tree as attractive as possible for a Kodama. Because at the end of each season, the Kodamas look for a new home. And the happier they are with the tree, the more abundant the reward for the tree herders. Who will the Kodamas ultimately choose as the new guardian of the forest?
