"Oh, a dog? I have to go there right now!" And then your dog is off.
He tries it on the leash too, and if that doesn't work, your dog gets agitated. He's frustrated, and so are you, because you never pass other dogs calmly, and your dog doesn't get to them fast enough.
In this webinar, I'll show you what's important when dealing with and training dogs who absolutely want to meet every other dog. Frustration is pre-programmed with such dogs, and this promotes leash aggression. To prevent this and to pass other dogs calmly, your dog needs new behavioral strategies, better frustration tolerance, and impulse control. You'll learn how to approach this fairly, kindly, and sustainably with marker training in the webinar.
You should register for the webinar "Mastering Dog Encounters & Training with Marker Signals: Frustration,"
- if you wonder why your dog absolutely wants to go there.
- if you want to master dog encounters with and without a leash in a relaxed way.
- if you want to live together with your dog kindly and fairly.
After the webinar, you will know
- how to prevent "absolutely wanting to go there" and frustration from turning into leash aggression.
- how you and your dog can pass other dogs calmly even without "saying hello."
- how to improve your dog's frustration tolerance and impulse control.
- how to sustainably encourage more relaxed behavior in dog encounters with marker training.
Our Speaker
Ulrike Seumel has been a trainer for people with dogs and a coach since 2011. At Dog It Right, she and her team support people with "difficult" dogs in personal compact training in Potsdam/Berlin/online and in selected online programs. Ulrike Seumel is convinced that many problems don't even arise with a happy and relaxed dog, and therefore relies on the lasting effect of marker signals. Dog It Right also produces a podcast and a blog, thus helping thousands of dog owners in the German-speaking world to have relaxed walks.
The goal of Dog It Right: a happy and carefree life for all people and their dogs.
