"You just need to lead your dog better." As a dog owner, you often hear or read such an unspecific, easily uttered sentence. \nBut what does "leading" mean for me as a dog owner? What leadership style is best for me, allowing me to be authentic? What type of leader am I? What is needed for that? How do I deal with conflicts and group dynamics? Does my dog even need to be led, and if so, why? What is required for that? How do I recognize what motivates him? And how do I direct his motivation in the desired direction? How do I remain confident, clear, and maintain a good, loving connection with my dog?
