When we take the leash, our dog knows: It's time for an activity together, this is the time for shared adventures. As a rule, our dogs are sociable, and that's not a problem, because you also meet many other dogs on the way.
But do dogs really always want direct contact, in what situations do they need protection, and when do they actually "just want to play"? It becomes embarrassing when your own dog loudly or aggressively defends its territory and owner. This can lead to many problems during encounters with other dogs, and often you simply don't know how to react.
Outside the city, at first glance, it seems more relaxed to simply let the dog run free. "They'll sort it out among themselves!" people often say, emphasizing that social contact is important and that the dog should also learn to get along with other dogs on its own. And if you keep your distance and don't want contact, this often leads to discussions between dog owners.
Ursula will discuss these topics in the webinar:
Territorial behavior
Dogs think in spaces – what does that mean?
Play behavior
Where does the fun begin and when does it end?

Contact, yes or no?
