Odor differentiation involves finding and indicating an odor. For this, the dog learns the so-called "passive indication," meaning a stable and calm hold at the odor source.
However, this is not so easy for dogs. The more hyper and lively a dog is, the more challenging it is to teach it to calmly indicate.
In this webinar, Matthias Mück will show you
• how to correctly use the clicker and rewards in odor differentiation,
• how to build up the passive indication at the odor source and the "keep-going signal,"
• how to avoid or correct mistakes,
• how even hyper and excited dogs learn to indicate calmly
• and how you and your dog can enjoy working with odor differentiation.
