Bats

They are simply part of summer nights: bats, the mysterious hunters with their unique ability to orient themselves, their artful flight, and their technical skill in catching prey. Since we can decipher many of their secrets with high-speed cameras and bat detectors and thus know more about their lives, they are at the top when it comes to observing nocturnal animals. But bats need our help. How can we preserve or provide roosts for them, how can we protect them and their traditional territories?
