Working together with dogs on a scent trail is real teamwork. The tracking leash only physically connects the dog and handler – but what is the true foundation of a team that "blindly trusts" each other and is only then successful? What needs to be considered when training scent work on an artificial trail and later in the practical hunting situation, which is also relevant for animal welfare? What helps? What harms?
Learn in this webinar:
• The phenomenon of the dog's nose and its anatomy
• Scent components of a trail
• Complications on the trail
• Laying artificial trails and their development – practical tips
• Rules of conduct for handlers
• Tracking training program
• Expert tips and tricks
