First Aid for Hunting Dogs
Available immediately
You're on a driven hunt for wild boars and have released your dog. He's been gone an unusually long time and only returns to your stand after a good hour and a half. You can tell from a distance that something isn't right. The dog is struggling to walk – and is favouring his right hind leg. Shortly after, your suspicion is confirmed: despite wearing a protective vest, the tough dog has been badly injured on the inside of his hind leg.
This is just one of many health risks that our dogs, in particular, are exposed to during tough hunting operations. And often, the life of the canine depends on immediate and professional first aid, because it usually takes a long time to get to the vet.
After this online seminar by veterinarian Noreen Heigl, you won't have to worry about your dog helplessly anymore, but can competently provide him with first aid. You will learn everything about acute care for dogs and may one day become the lifesaver of your own dog or another canine.
You will learn about:
- Respiratory distress and unconsciousness
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Wound care and dressings
- Gunshot and traumatic injuries
- Heatstroke and hypoglycemia
- Gastric torsion
- Poisoning
... and more.
Noreen Heigl works at a renowned veterinary clinic in southern Germany. She shares her specialisation "First Aid for Dogs" as a sought-after speaker throughout the country.
