Miss Bennett, the head librarian in Rocky Beach, has disappeared! An apartment abandoned in a hurry, files deleted from the library computer, and a note with a series of strange numbers point to an extremely mysterious case. The Three ??? set out to search. Soon they know: the librarian followed the mysterious signs of a ghostly apparition on the internet. Where is she being lured? What message has she received?
