The Three Investigators, In the Sign of the Snakes

A menacing-looking giant enters the junkyard and hands the three detectives fifty dollars and a small package. The curt instruction is: "Don't ask, find star." Then the man disappears. What begins with the shortest commission in the history of the three ??? quickly develops into a complicated and dangerous case. Justus, Peter and Bob are confronted with mysterious riddles, nocturnal stalkers, hypnotic gnome eyes and, last but not least, an armed phantom. Now all their skills are required not to fall by the wayside in the hunt for the mysterious 'Serpent Star'. And much more is at stake...
