Dogs are sensitive to their owners' moods. Your emotions, such as stress, anger, or joy, influence your dog's mood and ultimately their behavior. This can be helpful in training, but can also exacerbate problems: dogs mirror us and react to our fears or hectic movements by becoming fearful or hyper themselves.
In this webinar, we will show you why dogs mirror us, what advantages and disadvantages this has, how we can use mood transmission, and how to address problems that arise from the mirroring between humans and dogs.
We will start with background knowledge on the history of domestication and the learning behavior of dogs, consider which dogs are particularly susceptible to mood transmission, and offer concrete solutions on how you can shape your mindset and show you techniques to consciously control your emotions. So that you and your dog can achieve a harmonious coexistence.
Learn in this webinar:
- why dogs mirror us,
- the advantages and disadvantages of mood transmission,
- how mood can influence a dog's behavior,
- concrete solutions for better control of your mood,
- how mood can be used in training,
- and how problems caused by mood transmission can be changed.
