With the supplemental card sets, the CATAN gaming experience can be optimized! If a new version of CATAN – The Game from 2025 is combined with an old version of the Cities & Knights expansion from before 2025, design differences on the card backsides could lead to advantages in the game. However, these differences do not affect the actual gameplay. The card sets offer the ideal solution to ensure the compatibility of these two versions. Each set contains 36 commodity cards and 54 development cards from the latest version of the CATAN – Cities & Knights – expansion (2025). This allows a new version of CATAN – The Game to be easily combined with an old expansion for a smooth gaming experience.
