CATAN - Japan - Expansion

Experience CATAN anew: This expansion transfers the familiar game principle to a map of the Japanese islands. Settlements and cities emerge at selected real Japanese locations, creating an authentic game world and new strategic positioning opportunities. Additional victory point chips reward the targeted expansion of roads and shipping routes, opening up extended tactical possibilities. The expansion includes a foldable game board in a compact folder format and victory point chips. Fully compatible with CATAN – The Game and optionally combinable with the Seafarers expansion. The playable map also offers playful background knowledge about Japan and the cities included in the game, and was developed in collaboration with a Japanese artist. For three to six players aged ten and up who want to experience the familiar CATAN game feeling in a new environment.
