CATAN - The Game - 5-6 Player Extension - Cards - Accessories

The supplementary card sets optimize the CATAN gaming experience! If an older version of CATAN – The Game – 5-6 Player Expansion (after 2003) is combined with a new version of CATAN – The Game or the new Cities & Knights – Expansion including the Cities & Knights – 5-6 Player Expansion (from 2025), differences in the design of the card backs may occur. These visual differences could theoretically lead to an advantage in the game – however, they have no impact on the actual gameplay. The supplementary card sets remedy this: they ensure full compatibility between old and new game versions. Each set contains 25 resource cards and 9 development cards in the design of the current CATAN – The Game – 5-6 Player Expansion (2025). This allows older editions to be easily combined with the current expansions – for a balanced and seamless gaming experience!
