What is play and what isn't? Can it take a bad turn here, and if so, why? What do certain behaviors mean? Should play be interrupted, and when is the right time for that?
Do you want to understand your dog's playful behavior or that of other dogs and receive a professional assessment of whether a dog is exhibiting playful behavior and how you can recognize it? Maren Grote will explain playful behavior in dogs using video analyses.
After a theoretical introduction to playful behavior in dogs, Maren Grote will analyze the playful behavior of your dogs based on their body language and expressive behavior using your submitted videos. She will show how playful behavior manifests itself, which behaviors can be mistaken for play, and when a game should be interrupted.
Take this opportunity in this webinar to better understand your dog, to be able to assess situations correctly, and to learn from real-life video analyses! There will also be plenty of time for questions!
In this webinar, Maren Grote will show you:
- what play looks like among dogs and between dogs and humans,
- how body language and expressive behavior manifest in play,
- which behaviors can be mistaken for play,
- when and if you should interrupt a "game,"
- how to assess your dog's behavior and that of other dogs,
- and how to prevent the mood from turning sour.
