Retrieving for Hunting Dogs – new methods, old goals
Safe retrieve without force
Available immediately
Despite all technological advancements, ethical hunting practices are still impossible without reliably working hunting dogs. Post-shot work, and thus the focused finding and retrieving of game, is among the fundamental requirements for most utility hunting dogs in practical hunting. In addition to traditional training methods, other training approaches are gradually emerging that pursue the same goal: reliable retrieving even under the most difficult conditions. This webinar explores the learning-theory foundations underlying these different methods and why joy and motivation are highly desirable in the learning process. Retrieving is not just a product of pure obedience training; it also adheres to the rules of social interaction and requires the dog's willingness to cooperate. Ultimately, it is always the sum of all things that leads to success.
In this webinar, you will learn:
– About new training methods in the field of "retrieving"
– How to design retrieve training that your dog enjoys
– Why a reliable retrieve is enormously important
