A different kind of stand hunting – hunting from climbing stands, tree saddles, and treestands
Duration 90 minutes including 30 minutes Q&A
Available immediately
Sometimes, circumstances in the hunting ground require the hunter to be flexible regarding their chosen hunting stand. Lightly constructed hunting stands, such as driven hunt stands or ladder stands, can then be positioned in ripening wheat fields or newly reforested areas. But there's another way! Climbing stands, tree saddles, or treestands originally come from bowhunting. However, these mobile hunting stands can also be used for "classic" rifle hunting. With these new stand solutions, the hunter is significantly more flexible than with driven hunt stands or ladder stands. However, for hunting with alternative stand equipment to be safe and successful, the hunter should familiarize themselves with the equipment and observe some additional special considerations. This webinar is dedicated to all these special requirements.
Michael Gast will address the following topics:
- Market overview: alternative hunting stands / Which solution is suitable for which application?
- Correct handling of tree saddles, treestands, and climbing stands (assembly, safety)
- Shooting from alternative hunting stands
- Hunting use of climbing stands
