When humans and dogs roam together through fields, woods, and meadows, needs want to be met – the human seeks recreation, a break from everyday life, to relax and enjoy time with their four-legged friend, while the dog explores its environment, follows scents here and there, cooperates with its human, and is kept busy. But the environment also has needs that we should not ignore: How do the "wild" inhabitants get their due and avoid uninvited guests? How can the human-dog team keep gamekeepers and farmers happy so as not to become an unwelcome visitor to their territory?
Anja Fiedler will explain to you,
• what knowledge about wildlife, hunting, and agriculture humans should have in their training kit,
• what environmentally friendly activities could look like throughout the seasons,
• which hobbies and jobs also work on a leash,
• whether meaningful indoor activities can also be pursued when wildlife, crops, and grassland need to be protected outdoors,
• what the dog reveals to the human about the wildlife through its behavior,
• how the team learns to roam through fields, woods, and meadows in an environmentally friendly way with targeted training.
