About the Author

Victoria Grinberg

Victoria Grinberg studied at LMU Munich and earned her doctorate in Bamberg and Erlangen on the long-term variability of black hole binary systems. After research stays at MIT in Cambridge and the University of Tübingen, she currently works at the European Space Agency (ESA). Victoria Grinberg is committed to popularizing astrophysics and increasing the visibility of women in science: in 2020, she launched the Twitter campaign #astrophysikerinnen. In 2022, she was awarded the renowned Röntgen Prize.
