About the Author

Verena Linde

Verena Linde is an author and has been an editor at the children's magazine Geolino for many years. There, she has published countless animal stories; the kakapo, fat-tailed dwarf lemur, and Omura's whale remain unforgettable for her. In her writing, she enjoys venturing afar, to (young) people all over the world, and even to astronauts in space. In her private life, she mostly stays grounded, often under trees, when she roams through the forest of her hometown Wedel, just outside Hamburg, with her husband and children.
