About the Author

Ulrike Bergmann

Ulrike Bergmann, born in 1970, grew up next to a pony farm. She studied business administration and media sciences and completed a traineeship at the Axel Springer Journalism School. After working for Bild am Sonntag and in PR for a major bank, she returned to her professional roots at the local editorial office of Sylter Rundschau. Since 2010, she has been accompanied by her Shetland pony Hella, who led her to self-employment. The biography of her trainer Wolfgang Marlie is her first book.
