Ulf Blanck was born in Hamburg in 1962 and lives south of the Elbe with his family. He has been writing for Die drei ??? Kids since its inception and also produces the audio plays. After studying architecture, he worked for many years as a radio editor. In addition to children's books, Ulf Blanck also writes screenplays and plays. He is driven by telling stories that he would have enjoyed reading as a child. His voluntary work in children's holiday camps helps him in his desire to remain ten years old. His pockets are stuffed with things he picks up on the street that are useless for anything except good stories.
