Sven Benson

Sven Benson is Professor of Medical Psychology and Medical Education and Head of the Institute for Didactics in Medicine at Essen University Hospital. His research focuses, among other things, on how pain is influenced by psychological factors such as expectation effects (placebo and nocebo effects) and communication, as well as by biological factors.
