About the Author

Peter Martin

Peter Martin studied biology with a broad limnological education at the University of Kiel and at the former Max Planck Institute for Limnology in Plön. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and taught courses in basic zoological-ecological studies as well as limnological courses. He is currently working as a freelance consultant in the field of hydrological reports, researching water mites, and volunteering in spring conservation.
