About the Author

M. V. Carey

Mary Virginia Carey was the first female author in "The Three Investigators" series. Born in England in 1925, she emigrated to the USA with her family, where she discovered her love for writing. In total, Carey wrote sixteen cases for the three detectives from Rocky Beach. Her last case, "and the Screaming Train," was long considered lost and is now finally coming to public attention.
