About the Author

Lisa Roeckener

Lisa Röckener is a sports and chemistry teacher. Her horses live on her parents' farm near Osnabrück. During her junior years, Lisa rode in the eventing perspective squad and had to take a break from competitive riding in 2013 after a fall. This setback made her rethink her approach. Lisa trained her gelding, Vite Valoo, from the very beginning with great trust, love, and understanding. In combination with varied basic training including groundwork, trick training, dressage, show jumping, and eventing, they grew into a wonderful team. Lisa and Valoo are the stars of many shows.
