About the Author

Lena Klassen

Lena Klassen was born in Moscow in 1971 and grew up in Germany. She now lives with her family in rural Westphalia. She studied literature, English, and philosophy at Bielefeld University, where she earned her doctorate in 1999. Under her pseudonym Maja Winter, she has already published numerous novels. Lena Klassen primarily writes fantasy and young adult books, but she is also not averse to a literary murder now and then, as her crime novel "Schwesterherz" proves.
