Jörg Strehlow

Jörg Strehlow was born in Worms am Rhein in 1970, and after just a few years, he succumbed to the fascination of being on the water and fishing. Fascination soon turned into passion. His love for fishing developed into a profession in 1986, and Strehlow began reporting on his experiences in the specialist press. He became an editor at the fishing magazine BLINKER, later founded a fishing school, developed the "Faulenzer method" (lazy method), the most successful method for catching zander, and wrote several books on various fishing topics. Today, Strehlow works as a professional guide for zander & sea trout, an author for various specialist magazines, a sought-after product developer, and a consultant in the angling scene. His philosophy is to prioritize the adventure of fishing and confidence in one's own abilities. His motto: "It's not the lure that catches the fish, but the angler!"
