Since completing her studies, Gabi Metz has been working as a freelance journalist, writing and taking photos for daily newspapers, book publishers, and renowned specialist magazines, including "Our Cats", "Geliebte Katze", "Katzen extra", as well as for dog magazines such as "Unser Rassehund", "Hundewelt", and "Partner Hund". With a lively pen, she expertly puts everything that moves lovers of purring and barking creatures on paper and captures it with her camera. She lives with her family in Mülheim and owns two Norwegian Forest Cats, three "barn tigers", and the English Setter male "Nitis".
